RAINBOWS AND ROCK BANDS AT EAST RIDDLESTON HALL. – EMMA AND DAVID
KIND WORDS FROM THE HAPPY COUPLE – Well I really don’t know where to begin! We had Katherine and Sharon for our very special day on 16th august. Words cannot describe how incredible these two ladies are! They really did go above and beyond their call of duty and we could not be more grateful to them for everything they did! The photos (that we have seen so far) are absolutely outstanding, they are not only talented photographers, they have now become friends too! They really did make our very special day even more perfect, with lots of words of advice, helping out and taking control at some very stressful moments, and practically co-ordinating our day! Words do not do them justice. I would recommend them 1000 times over! Thankyou so much for both being so amazing! lots of love, Mr & Mrs reid xxxxx
Emma and David got married last summer at the spectacular East Riddleston Hall, which is rustic 17th-century manor house in Keighley, West Yorkshire. It was the most beautiful wedding and even the rain didn’t dampen the day!
Emma got ready at Hollins Hall Hotel, Golf & Country Club, which was a short drive from East Riddleston Hall. with her mum and bridesmaids, and the atmosphere was full of excitement. The girls all wore matching dressing gowns and were sipping champagne. She then rode a fancy wedding car to get to the ceremony. All of the guests were sat waiting for her arrival with great anticipation. David got ready at Hollins Hall Hotel too but left early to ensure that all of the little details of their day were perfect for Emma and their guests.
The ceremony was a beautiful service in the barn. festooned with fairy lights, Emma and David chose to marry in front of the open barn doors, overlooking the lake, the light was perfect as the sun shone on the water. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was so magical, however their was not a dry eye in the house as Emma read her own personal message to David, it was so personal and a real tear-jerker.
After the ceremony
The reception was out in the garden at the venue. They chose East Riddleston Hall because it has so many options and they could totally personalise it. It was a a rose gold affair but a very relaxed wedding, which was simply stunning. I love shooting personal weddings, especially at venues like East Riddleston Hall weddings because it’s always so so gorgeous. as the couples put their heart and soul in to true personalisation.
They had live music in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. The music was incredible and made the day feel so relaxed. We had the pleasure of seeing the lovely team from Diamond Photobooth too, and they are always so nice. They decorated the venue with lots of flowers, rose gold accents and fairy lights and tealights, because it added to the ambiance.
For dinner they had a stunning meal, which was loved by all the guests.
The most memorable part of the day was when we were doing their couples portraits in the gardens, and a Rainbow appeared just for them, because it was so romantic and personal.
What They Wore
Emma wore a stunning lace and crystal dress, beautiful vintage Pearls and the most epic Gold Christian Louboutin and David wore Blue suit with Dusky pink dicky bow and they looked so incredible.
The couple met at school and have been together for ever since. They got in touch with me on recommendation from a friend and their enquiry was really touching. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just really wanted me there.
Emma and David’s wedding was everything I love about weddings and just the happiest occasion. Here’s their gorgeous wedding!
